 West Palm Beach, Plant Haven?

West Palm Beach, Plant Haven?

With so many street names named after plants, Evernia, Hibiscus, Clematis, Datura, Iris, Rosemary, Tamarind. It is a wonder how this has happened.

Henry Flagler founded Standard Oil, and with $45,000 he purchased the properties that became the center of Palm Beach.

Linking back to Flagler, in the Victorian Era, Flagler was naming the streets. West Palm Beach is a beautiful place, looking around in the middle of summer with the beaches, palm trees, summer breeze, ocean crisp in the air, maybe even love was in the air. Taking a look at the meanings of the street names:

Hibiscus: Delicate Love

Gardenia Street: Secret Love

Iris: Passion

No wonder all the snowbirds are making Florida their permanent residence. There is love, passion, good weather, and just beauty everywhere you turn.

To live close to all this love, passion and beauty, check out Two City Plaza.

Two City Plaza has many amenities, including a gym, pool, movie theater, sauna and more. Palm Beach Real Estate Pros can show you many options of living in Two City Plaza or Downtown West Palm Beach.

Flagler Facts of Palm Beach

On April 17, 1911, the Town of Palm Beach, Palm Beach County’s second municipality, was incorporated.

It was discovered in January that West Palm Beach was going to attempt an annexation of the island resort during that year’s legislative session.

Henry Flagler became known as the inventor of modern day Florida. How? It was orriginally called Flagler's Folly, the Florida east Coast Railway crossed from Palm Beach to Key West, capturing the whole state by rails.

Henry Flagler was married three times. Mary Harkness, Ida Alice Shourds, and Mary Lily Kenan,

There are many events on Flagler, especially with it right next to the water, the end of Clematis dips into Flagler. Making the strip known for events like Feast of the Sea, 4th on Flagler and lets not forget about the Flagler Museum.

Is It WORTH It?

Worth Avenue has been a forever staple for Palm Beach.

In 2013 it was voted one of the top three "Most Iconic" streets in America.

The upscale shopping strip is home to many iconic stores, as well as the Living Wall pictured below.

In the early 1900s, the west end of Worth Avenue belonged to Alligator Joe’s Farm. Now you are more likely to find an alligator purse.

To live close to this iconic street, look into Two City Plaza. Two City Plaza has many amenities, including a gym, pool, movie theater, sauna and more. Palm Beach Real Estate Pros can show you many options of living in Two City Plaza or Downtown West Palm Beach.

Downtown West Palm Beach is SHOUTing New Flavors

Having its Grand Opening last year on March 17th, Shout Karaoke is now offering some new flavors. Their Lunch features Rockin Ramen, mostly during lunch, but still offers their Dinner and Late night Menu. They have different Ramen flavors including Tonkotsi, Miso, and Shoyu for $4, but we are not sure how long that price will last. The Ramen Noodle bowls can be paired nicely with their flat-breads, BBQ sliders and with their Gangnam Style Chicken wings. Their full menu officially launches today, June 7th.

Looking for something to do besides the usual? Shout Karaoke is a great way to mix things up, for your taste buds and vocal chords. Also, for 8 bucks per person in a karaoke box singing your lungs out surely beats the shower.

Wait. What’s a karaoke box? Think of having karaoke in your living room with a great Karaoke system with thousands of songs, but you don’t have to clean up afterwards.

Go ahead, break into your happy song and/or dance.

To live close to these new flavors, you could dance your way there from Two City Plaza in Downtown West Palm Beach. Palm Beach Real Estate Pros has some great deals to live in this hotel-like atmosphere. Two City Plaza’s pool, sauna and movie room is one-of-a-kind. To have a whole building of amenities at your fingertips, having the feeling of being at a 5 start hotel, but a mansion at the same time, is a great mix.

Keeping Downtown West Palm Beach Beautiful

Downtown West Palm Beach Affordable?

West Palm Beach has its own distinct identity.

Indeed, West Palm Beach is west of Palm Beach Island, hence its name. The city, which has gone through many changes, has a variety of attractions to its visitors and residents.

CityPlace has a 55 acre multi-level shopping and entertainment complex. Not far from CityPlace lies Clematis street, which is a street full of restaurants, bars and entertainment. Every Thursday evening, the street has live music and once a month, enjoy a movie out on the lawn, just like how we used to watch them at the drive in.

Speaking of history, there are two museums, Norton and Flagler Museum, which offer a variety of art and events.

In the mood for relaxing? The beach is just a few minutes away.

How to live close to all this excitement and relaxation?

Check out Two City Plaza.

Two City Plaza is close to City Place and shockingly affordable. It has 21 stories, great amenities and location.

Rooftop pool, theater, sauna and steam room are located on the roof top of Two City Plaza. There are gardens on the 5th floor, a fitness center, club room and an indoor movie theater. Due to the many floor plans, there is something for everyone, for sale or for rent.

Palm Beach Real Estate Pros, Earns Prestigious Designation from the National Association of Expert Advisors

Certification Provides Platform for a World-Class Real Estate Experience

West Palm Beach, FL, July, 28 2014 – Palm Beach Real Estate Pros and Paul Schafranick are proud to announce that we recently earned the Certified Home Buying Advisor™ designation from the National Association of Expert Advisors (NAEA).

The NAEA is a North American real estate association provides real estate agents who are truly serious about delivering the absolute best real estate experience to each of their clients, with tools, strategies and systems to establish themselves and operate their businesses as true expert advisors in the real estate process.

As a result of earning this designation, Palm Beach Real Estate Pros and Paul Schafranick have been trained in providing a proven, repeatable system to help clients buy their home for up to 18% less than the methods of traditional real estate agents. What this means is that buyers and sellers will receive top-notch customer service, unparalleled sales and marketing advice, strategic negotiation efforts and the highest level of home buying expertise when working with Palm Beach Real Estate Pros and Paul Schafranick.

NAEA designees go through a rigorous training to learn the 115 variables involved in the home buying process that can be proactively managed to buy a home for the least amount of money.

"The Certified Home Buying Advisor™ designation should be required for any real estate agent in today's market place" states Palm Beach Real Estate Pros. "The designation isn't about 'Hey, look at me, I'm an expert', rather, it's about digging deep into the needs and wants of today's real estate consumer and then matching what you have to offer with what each individual needs so that their real estate transaction is an amazing experience."

The average real estate agent only sells approximately eight homes per year. When it's time to buy your largest investment, you owe it to yourself to hire a Certified Home Buying Advisor™ to assist you with the process. Certified Home Buying Advisors™ sell anywhere from 5 to 30 times more homes than the average agent, which means they have more resources and more experience to help get you the best results possible on your home buying.

You can find out more information about the Certified Home Buying Advisor™ designation by visiting www.naea.com.
